Headquartered in the quaint foothill town of Newcastle in Placer County, the company specializes in children’s items—swaddles, blankets, sheets, towels—with darling prints that include everything from sparrows to hot-air balloons and vintage bicycles. Founder Crystal Lakes, a mom of two boys, “wanted to create her own prints for babies and kids but with mom’s style in mind,” says spokesperson Holly DeLano. “We take into consideration the things that a mom would want to carry around or have in her home.” The year-old company already sells its products in nearly 120 boutiques nationwide.
